The untimely death of the king

Once upon a time, there was a man who fought the French to get them off of Algerian soil. The French had colonized Algeria a while back.

When it came time for the French to fight World Wlar 2, they asked for soldiers from Algeria, to help them. The people from that area of Africa
are known as the Carthaginians.

You may have heard about one man who was angry at Rome, and who came into Rome from the icy mountians North; with elephants and trained soldiers and weapons. I

The Man who delivered that humiliating blow too the Romanempire was taking revenge for the killing of his beloved king and father. He was a Carthaginian. His name was Hannibal.

The French new how tough these North African peoples were, so when they were, themselves, brutally occupied by the German Army, the French asked their own, occupied, North African clonies for help fight in fighting against the occupying Germans. Algeria said that they would help, but they wanted something in return. They wanted to no longer be a colony, and to have their independence from France. The French said, "Sure we will give you your independence, just come help us to win this war".

Now the French were nicknamed the black feet by the Algerians. The french considered Algeria to be it's private overseas garden property. The Blackfeet grew some of the best grapes and got some of the best wine in the world to be produced from that country. (And you know how the French love their wine.) So when it came time for the French to give Algeria its independence (for helping France to fight against the Germans and to end the German occupation of it during WW2), the french reneged on their agreement.

The heroic people of Algeria would have nothing of it. And although they would lose more than 1 million of the population, chasing the French out of Algeria, they DID win and they DID get their independence.

Two brothers, and their families, became heroes of that war. One stayed in the military, and one served as a senator and an advisor for 30 years. He recently died from the covid debacle; the WHO/Dr fauchi protocols. The "murderdemic", if you will. But he left behind a present day "Hannibal".
